If you are unable to handle fall leaf cleanup on your own, there may be local resources that can help. Availability and eligibility can vary, so reaching out early gives you more time to find an option that works for you.
Local Programs to Start With
East Toledo Senior Center
The East Toledo Senior Center offers services including leaf raking, lawn care, weeding, hedge trimming, and snow removal. Their website does not list one set cost for chore services. Instead, suggested donations are based on household income and a sliding scale.

More to Come
The City of Toledo has not yet released its 2026 leaf collection schedule. Leaf collection has typically started around the beginning of November in recent years, but exact dates and pickup information for this year have not yet been announced.
Once more information becomes available, we plan to share what Toledo residents need to know about this year’s leaf collection.
