With fall coming up, we wanted to put some of our local favorites in one place. Mix and match these stops to build your perfect fall day around Toledo
First Stop: Coffee or Tea
Whether you’re looking for your usual order or something seasonal, here are two of our favorite local options.

Coffee, tea, pastries, and other treats make Grindhrs an easy stop to work into your morning.
Earth Coffeehouse
Earth has plenty of coffee and tea options, along with a larger food menu if you’re looking for something to eat.
Next Stop: Shopping
After a coffee stop, shopping is always a fun option. Here are a few local favorites for just about every vibe.
House of Dow
Vintage clothing, accessories, and handmade jewelry. House of Dow has a curated mix of vintage and new pieces.

Toledo apparel, accessories, and more. Browse locally themed gear and stop by the photo booth while you’re there.
NeverMore Used Bookstore
Used books for your next fall read. Browse the shelves and find something to save for when you get home.
Maumee Antique Mall
Antiques, collectibles, and a LOT to look through. With so many different booths under one roof, it almost feels like visiting dozens of stores at once. If you don’t feel like making several stops, coming here can easily take up an entire day.
Last Stop: Orchard
We couldn’t put together a fall day around Toledo without including an orchard. MacQueen’s Orchard in Holland and Fleitz Pumpkin Farm in Oregon are two of our favorites. MacQueen’s is open year-round, while Fleitz is open for the fall season from September 8 through October 31.
As for which one to visit, we’re not picking. Both are favorites around here, and both have some seriously good donuts.
Take the Fun Home
Once you’re done exploring, take whatever you collected throughout the day home with you. If you made an orchard stop, carve or paint your pumpkins, break into the treats you brought home, and put on a scary movie or fall favorite. Sometimes that’s all you need to finish off a good fall day.
